Spin the globe… where will you land?  If it’s anywhere between the 30th and 50th parallel in either the Northern or Southern Hemisphere, there’s a good chance you’ve hit a wine-growing region.

As you learn about a region, I suggest you also taste some of its wines.  I’ll include a reference for recommended wines.  We all know that the sense of smell triggers memories.  What better way to remember a region than by associating it with the smell and taste of its wines!
